Our Story

Founded in 2017, Sky Systemz was originally created as an online gateway for the analytics company Hade Technologies, where it would consolidate and then reconcile payment applications and Cryptocurrencies that the company’s 5,000 customers used to pay for monthly services.

Hade Technologies founder Brian Nichols saw an opportunity to spinoff Sky Systemz into its own entity, where it evolved into a brick-and-mortar mobile and Web payment application. Given that Brian Nichols nor his staff had ever worked in the payments industry, they were able to look at the industry objectively and identify areas of concern and opportunity to create a better service.

Specifically, cloud POS systems have emerged as the best business solutions in the marketplace, but they are costly, and only tech savvy business owners are able to utilize. Therefore, we built our business around serving well established long lasting small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) who need additional help to bring cloud technology to their business with a simple pricing structure they can count on.

ODP Solutions Inc. is a different kind of financial technology company at its core. Other financial technology companies have a roadmap that dictates the services they develop and then offer to their customers, whereas Sky Systemz is developed by demand. We listen to our customers, we absorb their feedback, and based on their wants we further develop our software and add new features for our customers.

This process is not only different but has created stronger working relationships. It has been exceptionally rewarding to work with our customers closely to develop their ideal solution and thereby being able to serve entire industries based on the feedback of industry components. This way of thinking has allowed Sky Systemz to become one of the world’s fastest growing payment services.

Our personalized customer service, low flat rates, and simple onboarding policy are all great features, but so is our free hardware, no hidden fees, and no contract policy. We noticed early on that the payment industry is a revolving door of merchants who typically switch and rotate their providers often.

Our customers never leave, and for good reason. We believe it’s because of our philosophy that we would rather lose money at the beginning and gain a customer for life vs flood our customers with hidden fees, bad contracts, and poor customer service. In essence, we aim to serve our customers better if not equally to how our customers serve their customers.

Sky offers next day funding, so Sky Paymentz customers will receive any payments made on Monday by 9:00 PM ET on Tuesday. Any payments during the weekend will be received on Tuesday.
Sky offers same day funding, where payments are typically available and deposited into your account within three hours, 24 hours 7 days a week. There is an additional 1.5% charge for this service.
Sky asks basic business and personal questions during registration, such as name, address, EIN, and banking information. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete our registration and begin processing payments. However, Sky uses next generation underwriting and verification technology to identify you as the business owner and to verify your business. If you do not answer questions accurately, we may ask additional questions or require documentation such as processing statements, drivers license, or business licenses for verification purposes.
Sky first attempts to verify your identity and ownership with the last 4 of your social security number. If we are unable to verify, we will require the full social security number to satisfy federal and state guidelines surrounding Knowing Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML).
Sky does not sell equipment. We will lease equipment to businesses that process less than $5,000 per month for $50 monthly, and to businesses that process less than $1,000 for $150 monthly. If you process over $5,000 monthly and are located in our local markets, we will provide you with equipment free of charge to use. If you operate outside our local markets Sky will sell you terminals to process in person payments but requires you to purchase additional equipment from third parties. Sky support can assist in facilitating the purchase.
Sky’s service is nationwide but our physical presence to offer personalized customer service and POS setups is in three states, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana and the metropolitan areas of St. Louis and Orlando.
Yes, Sky can assist with the transition and as a subscriber to Cloud Servicez we can rebuild your website if you prefer. This will keep all of your services, both in store and online in one place.
Yes. Sky Cloud Servicez offers two plans with Pro and Pro+ to build, host, and maintain custom websites. The typical buildout time is 1-2 weeks.
Yes. Sky provides loans that range from $5,000 to $30,000 that are completely tied to processing volume to customers who have been using our services for more than two months.
